The case of Abdul Rahman...

It's time for me to comment on the case of Abdul Rahman, the Afghani who converted to Christianity and who now faces the death penalty. We all need to speak out about this horror. No one should face any penalty for what they believe. Unfortunately, this is all part of Sharia law....and the same sort of thing happens in places like Saudi Arabia. How many churches are there in Saudi Arabia?

We need to confront this on two levels. First, to put pressure on the Afghan government to stop this persecution...and to ensure this sort of thing never happens again. Second, we must confront the horrors of Sharia law everywhere it is applied. We must not be silent.
