Arson in California....

Gee, what will the global warming people say about this????
As firefighters struggled to control wildfires that have driven half a million people from their homes in southern California and caused $1bn in damage, police shot and killed one suspected arsonist and arrested another.

After discovering a suspicious man in brush area on the San Bernardino campus of California State University, police attempted to detain the 27-year-old on suspicion of arson.

Following a chase, officers opened fire and killed him, police said.

Hours later in Hesperia, police arrested a motorcyclist near the San Bernardino foothills who authorities say set a small fire by the side of the road in the scrub. He is being held on suspicion of arson but authorities said they did not know if he was connected to any of the larger fires.

State officials believe a 30-square-mile Orange County fire that destroyed nine homes was started deliberately after finding three different ignition points.

Nothing, what does this have to do with the TINDER DRY conditions, brought about by the EXTREME DROUGHT? So, you are so pathetic, that you think because it was started by an arsonist, that this somehow detracts from the environmental conditions that allowed a simple match to do so much damage? Good grief man, your denials have no limit.

California’s last major statewide drought was 1987-92. At a regional level, parts of Southern California experienced a series of consecutive dry years in the late 1990s/early 2000s. Other significant droughts occurred during 1928-34 and 1976-77. 1977 has the distinction of being the single driest year of California’s measured hydrologic record.

So we've been having global warming since 1928?
