York University is a disgrace...

Thanks to Barbara Kay for highlighting the horrible situation at York University....
Two weeks ago Hillel ran an event featuring Knesset member Natan Sharansky. His speech was disrupted by the Palestinian Students Association and Students Against Israeli Apartheid@York group (SAIA). They yelled and disrupted his talk and talked over him on their cell phones, according to witnesses.

One witness from a Zionist group, Hasbara, said she was terrified by remarks like “Get off our campus, you genocidal racist” and “you are bringing a second holocaust upon yourselves.”

Last week’s Jewish Tribune reported that a crowd of SAIA rioters had swarmed the “intimidated” York president Dr Mahmoud Shoukri’s office and then stormed the senate chambers. Permission was granted for them to speak to the president in spite of their lawless method of gaining access. According to some who witnessed the subsequent disruptions of Sharansky’s speech, the Palestinian students took the president’s meeting with them as encouragement for a continuation or even escalation of their hostile and threatening behaviour.

Fourth year student David Elmaleh commented, “York has demonstrated that when democratic and orderly processes do not achieve a desired outcome for a group of students, deplorable intimidation and mob tactics do.”

The situation is out of control at York. The pro-palestinian groups have basically taken over the student associations, most notably the YFS (York Federation of Students. Without fail anytime a pro-Israeli speaker or demonstration occurs, they scream for it to be shut down, or they show up themselves and drown out everyone else. Meanwhile, if anyone so much as dares to fight back against these tactics, theyre labelled racists, islamophobes, and accused of "stifling free speech." Hypocrites, the lot of them. Im completely bloody sick of it, and I can't wait to leave this damned place.

So much for multiculturism. Islamofascism is rampant in Canada.
People will wake up but it might be too late. As for me, I know how to take care of business and if they start to fuck with me and mine well watch out.
As far as this comment "if anyone so much as dares to fight back against these tactics, they're labelled racists, islamophobes, and accused of "stifling free speech." What? Are you a pussy? Stand up to these fuckers. I'm sure you can round up enough students to counter these thugs. They are using those comments to intimidate you. Typical Islamofascist tactics.
Islam isn't a race it's a religion. And you better be afraid of Islamism because they are out to fuck you up. Wake up Canada

I'm a grad of York and I find this kind of censorship to be against what I thought that University stood for. The free exchange of ideas to be examined for their own merits or lack thereof. This is not academic at all. (real conservative)

This is no different than what has gone on in many universities all over the world. Jews are increasingly being verbally and physically intimidated, and will increasingly be driven out of a number of campuses. This is inevitable. I only hope the jewish professors who contribute to those campuses pack their bags too, and move to places where this type of activity is not tolerated. York is rapidly become an academic scumbucket, much like Concordia.

What is stunning is how many jews are totally and willfully blind to the rapidly rising hostility directed at them from Muslims arriving in Canada in ever greater numbers. Not just at universities, but in government bureaucracies, in politics, in "human rights commissions", in the press (check some bylines of Globe and Mail articles). Jews who have taken a safe life where they can display their religion openly in Canada are going to have a very rude awakening in the coming decades.

It is hard to understand how so many jews are present in the universities, in politics, in the legal system, in positions of power and authority, yet few have raised a peep, and many actively enable this type of suicidal demographic change in our society and institutions. In a generation there will be no comfortable place to be visibly jewish in Canada short of certain enclaves. Much as has happened in England, synagogues and jewish schools will need security fences and armed guards, and we will be reading about "possible hate crimes" of jewish kids being beaten or worse by "recently arrived Canadians".

We need 100,000 Ezra Levants, but instead we have only jewish Neville Chamberlains.

And somehow, there are still large number of jews who still support the Liberal Party of Canada, or worse, the NDP/Hezbollah party of Canada.

I did my first year of undergrad at York. I was not too interested in politics at the time, and that made me by default a naive, and ignorant liberal lefty who jumped on the student political bandwagon. However, I have to credit the radicalism of York for helping me realize how insane and militant the left is. I always cite my experience at York, and my witnissing of the anti-democratic and and violent conduct of the brown-shirts of the anti-Israel organizations there, as the beginning of my turn to the right.
