Hamas turns down Red Cross visit to Schalit....

I wish Obama would at least say something about this...
Hamas has once again turned down new demands made by the Red Cross to visit captured IDF soldier Gilad Schalit in the Gaza Strip, Israel Radio reported Wednesday.

In an interview with Hamas newspaper, Falastin, four years after Schalit was captured, Hamas lawmaker Yichia Musa said that the Red Cross had not taken into consideration the reality and situation on the ground as well as the political and military issues involved.

Yesterday at the Golan Brewery Pub in Qazrin, my husband and I had a very interesting chat with a bartender there. He spoke about his time in the IDF and how Hamas constantly sent out raiding parties into Israel to take Israeli soldiers hostage.

This young man spoke about this as if he was telling us about going to the corner store for a litre of milk.

Hamas lobs rocket after rocket into Israel and they refuse to recognize the right of Israel to exist. Is anyone surprised that they will not allow the Red Cross to visit this soldier.

Hamas is clearly violating the Geneva Convention when it comes to the treatment of prisoners and yet the UN and the left remain silent.

Just out of curiousity, where is Amnesty International and their coterie of lefty celebs?
